Free TV and Movies for the PS3

When searching for video content on the web, I noticed a lot of sites don’t work on the PS3. The media sites either need a proprietary player or a new version of Flash. After trying Hulu (needed newer flash), ABC and NBC (both needed a proprietary player), I was having trouble finding any good sites with current TV shows that could play on the PS3. I decided to find some sites I could use. Here is a list of sites that work on the PS3.
- Ninja Video This site has a huge amount of content with almost everything I wanted and very few popups. This is my first choice for content on my PS3. Choose the Flash content on Ninja Video.
- Youtube Of course we all know about you tube. Just do your search for your content.
- Mega Video Some content here does not work on the PS3. You may have to filter through some crap to get to what you want.
- Sling A new site from sling media. Lots of shows but they do get some content from Hulu so you may not be able to view it all.
- Justin TV Lots of options for live and recorded TV from the U.S and around the world.
- Hak5 one of my favorites, Always a great source of information. Skip the flash player and just click on the Xvid.
These are some of the sites I found. To make life easier put all of the links on a start page with Icons that are easy to click on with the PS3 controller. Fell free to bookmark it on your PS3 or use it as your start page. The link is http://www.ps3mediaservers.com/ps3/launcher.html
I hope that this will make watching TV and Movies on your PS3 easier and less of a headache. I will try to keep the list and the launcher.html updated.
With the addition of Hulu Plus to the PS3 you can now watch Hulu.

None of these sites even work. They all say your trying to install adobe flash on a unsupported device. this comes up every single time for all choices (over 30)
